About Us
Grant Dibden is the National Director of the Navigators. He served 26 years as an Army Officer before moving on to Navigators Staff full time in 2005. Along with his National Director responsibilities, he is currently working with students at Macquarie University. He has a passion for generational ministry and is thankful to God for allowing him to pursue this full time. He has studied theology at Ridley College and has a BTh from Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Grant is married to Jeanette and they have three teenage boys.
Grant has a National Council that assists him to lead the work. Each Council member brings a perspective from their local ministry and their own gifting and heart to feed into discussions. The members are:
Scott Brown heads the National Intern Training, leads the graduate work in Sydney and works with the Macquarie Uni team a couple of days a week in his spare time.
Harry Burgess heads the Navigators Church Based Ministries. He leads the Intentional Disciplemaking Church process and is based in Sydney where he is also the Pastor for Discipleship at Riverwood Presbyterian Church.
Dan Burns is the Deputy National Director of the Navigators and the Canberra City Ministry leader. As a part of this Dan is involved with students at ANU and ADFA.
Bruce Clarke is a co-leader of our Monash International Student work. He is a Distinguished Senior Technical Specialist with Telstra.
Taryn Donohue is a co-leader of our Lifenet work in Canberra and a member of the Compass Team. She works part time as a lawyer.
Fran Johnson is based in Melbourne and ministers to women there as well as partnering with husband Mike in ministry to families.
Owen Larkin is a co-leader of our Lifenet work in Canberra and is public servant by day.Stu McLeod is a co-leader of our ministry in SE Qld. He works as a Civil Designer with Gympie Regional Council. He & his wife, Vee, lead the community ministry in their local area.
Phil McMaster heads our military stream and is based is Townsville where he is a Commanding Officer in the Army.
