Going2WorkThe Challenges

Christians in the business world are faced with many challenges: how do I maintain a godly stance in the company or business when others around me quite readily exceed moral or ethical bounds? What attitude should I hold towards my job as a Christian? How can I cope with the stresses of everyday living and not be pressed into the world's mould? How can I establish or maintain my identity and testimony as a Christian in a world that does not respect God and His standards? How can I speak up effectively for the Truth? What sort of prayer life am I going to need to survive and grow in my walk with the Lord? Most importantly, how can I seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness ... without getting caught up in the deadening agenda of those who have no place for God?

The Opportunity

Nav B&P members learn to build bridges or establish platforms to help unfold spiritual and life issues for those who have yet to discover what it is to know Jesus. And for those who have just come to Christ or those who already have a genuine faith in Him, Nav B&P members are actively involved throughout Australia to help them grow as disciples of Jesus.  We concentrate on this work because of the call of Christ to win souls and to make disciples. [Matthew 4:19 and Matthew 28:19]. Nav B&P members go to the lost. They don’t wait for the lost to come to us. And they use every means that God has provided to engage with those who are in spiritual danger.

B&PMembership

Members of the Navigator Business & Professional Ministry are called upon in line with Colossians 1:10 “to walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”

Further details are laid out for you in the membership criteria, but any practising Christian, who desires to grow in Christ and, with His help, to help others to do the same would be readily welcomed as a member. Members aspire to follow the Law of Christ in the terms expressed by Him in Matthew Chapters 5,6 and 7.

Members will receive a membership badge and a membership tool kit as part of their membership. Members will also be entitled to receive an annual subscription to the Navigator publication, Compass.
